ABC-Backed Amendment to Transportation Bill Fails

ABC urged congressional leaders to support En Bloc Amendment #4 to the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Military Construction-Veterans Affairs appropriations in H.R. 8294 to address unnecessary and restrictive labor policies that could limit opportunities for merit shop contractors to participate in programs and projects authorized under this new funding. The amendment failed by a vote of 165-264.
