Come Watch the Build a Shed Competition in Action!
We’re excited to welcome five high schools to this year’s one-day Build a Shed competition. Even though the event is officially sold out, we’d still love for you to stop by and experience the action firsthand. Come see how these talented students tackle real-world construction challenges, how our contractor mentors coach them through the build, and how teamwork and precision come together under pressure.
Construction wraps at 2:00 PM sharp, when tools go down and judging begins on quality, completeness, and safety. We’d love to have you on site cheering on these incredible students and getting a behind-the-scenes look at this fast-paced, high-energy competition.
About the Competition
A competition between high school students in the area to build a 6×6 garden shed. Teams are comprised of 6 students & a teacher (coach) who will work with their mentors in the months leading up to the competition. Mentors will go into the schools when their schedules allow for a minimum of 4 meetings.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
GC or Sub mentor – $2500 (covers the cost of the materials)
BREAKFAST- $750 (Doggett Concrete)
LUNCH – $1,500
